To design balanced territories, BoogieBoard needs to understand the accounts that will be used to design them. Here are a few reminders: 1. For Geographical territories (ie. the Territory is a geographical area like states or zips), include the relevant geographical information. 2. For Books of Business (ie. the Account is assigned directly to a Territory or Account Owner), include a unique identifier for each account. 3. Depending on your account hierarchy structure, include the relevant Parent/Child information.
Staekholders may need help understanding the intention of your Account Data Fields. Letโs use this space to clarify any that are unclear. (See some examples below for common fields.)
Example Data Field Definitions
To create a summary of todayโs territories and design the future ones, you need to understand the territory structure and the relevant account owners. The Territory Geo Pins are a way of answering the question, โWhat is the geographical center of this territory?โ Often it is the same as the Account Owner Geo Pin.
