How do you promote a BDR into a balanced territory?

When a BDR moves into an AE seat, the team needs a book that is fair, productive, and not disruptive to the rest of the sales organization.

This walkthrough shows how BoogieBoard can carve a balanced territory for the promoted rep while preserving existing account relationships where possible.

The goal is to make the promotion operationally clean: a clear book, a clear quota basis, and minimal unnecessary account movement.

Use Codex and Boogie board to update and manage sales territories. I've got six enterprise AE territory, summer AE2, summer AE1 buried in this is that Roger Federer is currently a business development rep. We actually are growing quickly and need to add another territory. We're going to promote Roger into it. I'm going to tell Codex to take that action and we're going to assign him an account list using our prospect grade balance goal. So we're going to try to give him an equitable amount of of A, B, C and D accounts in the least disruptive way possible to the existing territories. Codex is saying we are complete. Let's refresh the table and see how it did. All right, I see Roger Federer here. He's got a relatively balanced A, B and C, prospect grade list of accounts. If we click into that, we can see the accounts that make up his territory directly. And if we go back to our roles, we can make sure that he's been removed as Justin Bieber's bdr. We're gonna have to refill that with somebody else. And his territory has been created here.
